Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited operates an integrated Agro-Processing and Value Chain Development model that focuses on transforming raw agricultural produce into high-value, nutrient-dense products. This unit is a core driver of the company's growth, with plans to increase annual processing capacity from 700 metric tons to 18,000 metric tons by 2027.

The company adds value to its root and tuber crops through several key product lines:

  • Orange-Fleshed Sweet Potato (OFSP) Puree: A flagship innovation launching in 2025, this puree serves as a nutritious, cost-effective substitute for wheat flour in bakeries, potentially reducing bread costs by up to 20%.

  • Fortified Gari: Maphlix produces gari (a fermented cassava staple) fortified with Vitamin A-rich OFSP to address nutritional deficiencies in children and vulnerable populations.
